Biography

I am an Agoraphobic Genealogist who lives right next to a Cemetery. I previously have travelled up to 6 hours away for photographs of 1 Headstone to add to my own Family History. I am working on completing photographing and transcribing Wentworth Falls Cemetery and plan to move on to Leura and Katoomba Cemeteries. I have personally traced our Family History back to the late 1600's with help from a lot of people and enjoy helping others discover their roots and history. In my free time I enjoy reading about and researching the Holocaust and World War II. In addition to Genealogy I also run a small Free Book Exchange for the people living on the Blue Mountains. My main love is and has always been History and Historical events. I like to think of History as an adventure and there is always something new to discover.

Hi Jenny,

I'm following up my post on your profile about your interest in continuing as an active member of the Australia Project. We really hope you would like to stay involved and look forward to hearing from you as soon as convenient.

The Australia Project page has the list of teams for you to review, as well as our minimal requirements for active membership. If you have decided that you don't have time to contribute at the moment, that is absolutely fine too, and you can rejoin whenever you wish.

Kind Regards

Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator

Hi Jenny,

A list of teams is on the Australia Project page. Please respond by private message.

We really appreciate your enthusiasm in working on Australian profiles on WikiTree, and thank you for all the work you have been doing. We look forward to hearing back from you and that you will decide to be part of the project as we move forward with the new teams for the project.

Kind Regards

Hi Jenny,

I sent you a message a week ago about the new-look Global Cemeteries Project but have not yet heard back from you. If you would like to continue in the project, please can you PM me your team(s) selections and your e-mail address for the Google group.

If I don’t hear back from you by this time next week I’ll assume you no longer wish to be in the project at this time.

Many thanks,

Hi Jenny,

We’ve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.

Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.

Please let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project, if you’d like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) you’d like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group.

Many thanks,

Susie

Trying to clarify: In the line that contains your female Leismann already exists one Metzger surname. I wanted to nudge you to add (or complete) research on your other Metzger ancestors. My paternal Gma Anna had a son in law named Josef Berg and in my tree if you work toward the past of him, you'll find a Franz Metzger, who was a/the lover, apparently, of one of my gggms Christina von Berg. I hope that's clear now and even possible.
Jenny, Hello and PLEASE add Metzger to your list of names in your tree. You have not yet found the parents' of your Leismann female, but I (& others) have an intense interest in finding a Metzger ancestor. Mine is Franz Metzger who was the father (at large) for several of my German relatives, including my ggf's fther Josef Berg. Josef had to take his mother's name at birth, so I'm sure you see my problem. My tree's Berg-1880, and this is a line from my gm Anna Berg.
Please unlock the profile for Caroline Bartley or add me to her trusted list as requested so that I can add her missing birth and death dates and locations along with her children and sources.
