Biography of Adeline Melissie Williams

Adeline Melissie Williams was born about 1826 in Georgia. She married Mr. Neal McLeod on January 21, 1844 in Georgia. She had nine children:

1. John McLeod, born March 23, 1846 in Georgia, married Miss Louisa Winnie Kidd.

2. Daniel McLeod, born May 5, 1846, died July 2, 1863.

3. Rebecca McLeod, born June 1, 1850, died October 30, 1852 in Randolph County, Alabama.

4. Nancy Carolina McLeod, born May 5, 1853, died February 8, 1864 in Randolph County, alabama.

5. Ann Eliza McLeod, born March 21, 1855.

6. Malcom Bethune McLeod, born December 24, 1857 in Pinehill, Randolph County, Alabama. He married Miss Martha Stillwell.

7. Mary Adaline McLeod, born March 1, 1860, died March 1, 1899 in Carrollton, Georgia.

8. William Angus McLeod, born May 26, 1862 on the McLeod Farm, Pinehill, Randolph County, Alabama. He married Miss Balie Stamps.

9. Neal Thomas McLeod, born January 10, 1866 on the McLeod Farm, Pinehill, Randolph County, Alabama.

Adeline passed away in Pinehill, Randolph County, Alabama. She is buried in the McLeod Family Cemetery.
