Biography

I'm from the Panhandle of Texas and proud of it and all my Texas roots.

My main family lines are WILLIAMS, HALLFORD, PUCKETT, and COUCH, but I research the CUNNINGHAM family (primarily descendants of James and Susannah Cunningham) extensively.

I've been researching genealogy for nearly 50 years, but I'm still lousy with citations.

Hi, Janice!

Hi! Just checking in with a few quick tips

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

Hi!

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.

WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, our G2G Forum and of course, our Mentors :)

Do you have any questions I can help with?

Eowyn ~ Mentor/Team Member

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. You are now a member of the WikiTree community.

Please note we are trying to build one collaborative tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the Help section or head over to the G2G forum. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)

I like the free sharing of information but with SOURCES. The unnecessary duplication of wrong information elsewhere makes me sad. I look forward to contributing.
