Nolie was born in 1872. She passed away in 1931.

Research Notes

Marriage record in DeKalb Co., TN has been found In the 1890's the family lived in North Central Texas. The children show to have been born in McKinney, Collin County, Texas. Robert A. Caplinger appears on several tax records for early 1890's in Eastland Co., Texas.

However, the 1900 census shows both Robert and Nolie with their respective parents. Both are showing as being married. Robert is in DeKalb Co., Texas while Nolie and her children are with her mother, Elizabeth and stepfather Pleasant Robinson, in DeKalb Co.,Texas.

Nolie is last seen in Oklahoma in 1930 with her son, W. M. Caplinger. Nolie and her daughter Lillie Massey are buried in Altus, Oklahoma.

Question is:

• Did Robert not make it back to Texas from visiting with his parents in 1900? I have not been able to located Robert after the 1900 census.
• Did Robert and Nolie seperate?
