Clyde Wilmer Williams was born on September 17, 1920 in Clayton, Concordia Parish, Louisiana, United States, son of Frederick Robert Williams (1889–1970) and Edna Mae Jackson (1891–1989).
Clyde's enlisted in the Airforce on 31 Mar 1942 and was discharged 11 Jan 1946, He enlisted again on 30 Jan 1951, and stayed in the reserves until 31 Jul 1971, Clyde died on 11 February 1984.[1]
Clyde died on February 11, 1984 in Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, aged 63. He was buried in Morgan City Cemetery and Mausoleum, Morgan City, St.[2]
