Biography

Arthur Williams is a part of US Black heritage.

Arthur was born about 1871. He is the son of Peter Williams and Caroline Adams. In the 1875 census Arthur was listed as the son of Isaac Minks in Auburn, Cayuga, New York, United States. However, Arthur's mother is listed as the sister-in-law of Isaac Minks, so Arthur is actually the nephew of Isaac Minks.^[1]In the 1880 census Arthur (age 9), At School, was the son of Peter Williams in Auburn, Cayuga, New York, United States.^[2] Arthur was in a directory in 1891 in Auburn, New York, United States.^[3] In the 1892 census Arthur (age 21) was in Auburn, Cayuga.^[4]
