Obituary
"MRS AD J LEWIS DEAD
The many relatives and friends of Mrs. Ella Williams Lewis will be grieved to learn of her death, which occured June 17th, at her home in Edgewood, Colo., where the family recently moved in the hope that the climate change would prove beneficial to her health.
Deceased was married to Ad J. Lewis while very young. She was the mother of nine children, the eldest daughter having passed away when just blooming into womanhood.
The devoted husband, and the aged father, R.R. Williams, with the eight children, one sister, Mrs. Ida McCray, of Chickalah, Eugene and Oscar, of Texas, survive her.
Many of the older people throughout the community will recall her sweet, gentle manners and the many noble traits of her beautiful character. The sympathy of all goes out to the surviving relatives in their dark hour of breavement, and especially to the motherless little girl, Pauline, who will miss her so much."
