Josephine (William) Eastlin is a part of US Black heritage.

Josephine was born in Utah about 1870.

In the 1870 census Josephine (age 2 months), At Home, was in Salt Lake City Ward 7, Salt Lake, Utah Territory.[1]

Josephine (age 22) married Edward Washington on 8 March 1892 in Salt Lake, Utah, United States.[2]

Josephine's daughter, Celela [sic] , died on 01 Jan 1895 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.[3]

In the 1900 census Josephine (age 30) was the divorced head of household in Salt Lake City Ward 3, Salt Lake, Utah. Her son Walter and her father, Joseph Williams, were living with her Joseph.[4]

In the 1910 census Josephine (age 37), Laundress, was the married head of household in Salt Lake City Ward 1, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.[5]

Josephine (age 36) married James P. Eastlin on 18 August 1910 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.[6]

In the 1940 census Josephing (age 69) was the widowed mother of Walter Washington in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California.[7]

Josephine died (age 73) on 26 February 1945 in Los Angeles. Mother's maiden name was listed as James on the death certificate.[8] Josephine was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, United States with a death date of 26 February 1945.[9]
