Reginald married Elsie May McDonald in Caltowie, South Australia on 14 July 1910.^[3] The following marriage notice was published in the South Australian newspaper, The Register, on 4 August 1910:^[4]

WILKINSON-McDONALD. - On the 14th July at the Methodist Church, Caltowie, by Rev. J. Watts, Reginald Watsford, eldest son of James Wilkinson, Jamestown, to Elsie May, youngest daughter of Angus McDonald, Caltowie. At home, Booleroo Centre, August 11.

Reginald died in Adelaide, South Australia on 19 October 1959 at the age of 76 years.^[5]

Reginald's remains were cremated at the Centennial Park Cemetery in Pasadena, South Australia with the ashes being interred there on 11 December 1959.^[6]
