Mrs. Huff was born April 22, 1926 in Galesburg, the daughter of James and Julia Kenney Wiles. She married Arlett E. Huff on January 26, 1947 in Oneida, IL. He preceded her in death on April 26, 2004.
She is survived by two sons, LeRoy (Sue) Huff, Petersburg, IL and John (Jean) Huff, Galesburg; a daughter, Julie (Russ) Carlson, Kirkwood, IL; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
She worked in food service at Knox College and the former Downtown Lounge and then worked in housekeeping at Galesburg Cottage Hospital and at the former Sheridan Inn, all in Galesburg. She retired in 1985. She attended Oneida schools. She had lived in Oneida, Kirkwood, and Galesburg. She attended Countryside Bible Church in Monmouth, IL. She loved listening to country music, dancing, bowling, watching Cubs baseball and spending time with her friends at Gordon Behrents Senior Center.
Age 80 years.
