Nellie (Wiles) Pike was born in Maryland.

Nellie Florence Wiles, daughter of John and Martha, was born in 1874 in Churchhill, Frederick County, Maryland, United States.

Nellie married Daniel Vogel Pike on 23 Jun 1895 in Smithsburg, Washington, Maryland.
Nellie and Daniel had 4 children:

Mrs. Nellie F. Pike
SMITHSBURG--Mrs. Nellie F. Pike, 98, of 17 East Water Street, Smithsburg, died Saturday afternoon at the Williamsport Sanitarium.
She was born in Churchhill, Frederick County, the daughter of the late John H. and Martha A. Moser Wiles.
She had lived all of her life in the Smithsburg area and was the widow of Daniel V. Pike.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Smithsburg, the Mary and Martha Sunday School Class, the Lutheran Church Women Society and the Dahlia Society in Hagerstown.
She is survived by three sons, Ira W. Pike of Weems, Va., Daniel K. Pike of Smithsburg and John A. Pike of Waynesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Hopper of Rochester, N.Y. and Mrs. Mary Stoner of Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg with the Rev. William L. Dreikorn Officiating. Burial will be in Smithsburg Cemetery, Smithsburg, Washington County, Maryland.
Friends may call at the funeral home at any time. The family requests the omission of flowers instead, contributions may be made to the building fund of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Note: There is no mention of her daughter, Martha, in any obituaries that were found, other than that of Martha in the Daily Mail, Hagerstown, Maryland, Monday, March 16, 1936:
