Research Notes

A OneFamilyTree lilsting shows Olive Bridgham Wilder, born about 1829, married to James Nowell. One of their 6 children is Lewis Wilder Nowell.

Olive is not listed in the Lewis WIlder household in the 1850 census. She shows up in Salem, Massachusetts, living with 12 other young women about the same age. No occupation for any of them is listed.

The 1900 census states that only 5 of her 6 children were living in 1900.

The 1910 census states that only 4 of her 6 children were living in 1910. So that would mean that either Edith or James died between 1900 and 1910.
