Biography
Katherine Helene Wild was born on June 25, 1874 in Burningtown Township, Macon County, North Carolina, United States, daughter of Joseph Manning Wild (1839–1901) and Rebecca Bryson (1846–1916).[1]
In 1880, Katherine (6) was living in Burningtown, Macon with her parents, Joseph M. (41) and Rebecca A. (36); her siblings, Virginia (12), James B. (10), Ada J. (7), and Albert C. (1); and Margaret Wild (70, grandmother), and Elizabeth Wild (50, aunt). [1]
Katherine (20) married Charles T Ray (31) (born on December 14, 1863 in Burningtown Township, United States of America; son of Henry H Ray and Mary Elizabeth (Moore) Ray) on March 10, 1895 in Macon County.[2]
In 1900, Katherine (26) was living in Burningtown, Macon with her husband, Charles T (36); and their children, Bryan (4), Oran (2), and Viola (1). [3]
In 1910, Katherine (36) was living in Burningtown, Macon with her husband, Charlie Roy (46); and their children, Bryon (13), Henry O (12), Viola C (11), and Ninah R (8). [4]
In 1920, Katherine (46)'s occupation was 'none'. She was living in Burningtown, Macon with her husband, Charles T (56); and their children, Oran H (22), Viola C (20), Nina R (17), and Dorothy M (8). [5]
