Biography
Daniel was born in 1846. He was the son of Pardon Wightman and Mary Fowler. He passed away in 1917.
Daniel A. Wightman was for more than twenty years, 1876 to 1897, Superintendent and Manager of the Pittsburgh Locomotive World, with residence in Allegheny City, now a part of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He retired in 1897, returning to his native state and locating on a farm in Warren. His last twenty years were spent in comparative leisure on his rural estate, and his widow still resides there.
