John Wheeler is Notable.

John Wheeler was an Indiana farmer and soldier. Wheeler was a Colonel in the Union Army during the Civil War. Colonel Wheeler commanded the 20th Indiana Infantry and was killed at the Battle of Gettysburg.

John was born in 1825.

He was shot in the temple and instantly killed 2 July 1863 as he rode behind his line on Devil's Den ridge.
