Thomas,

I believe that you are incorrect about the wife of Isaac Renoll. His only wife was Lydia Hoff. The person you have listed as his wife is actually his daughter.

I have been looking for Isaac's parents for about twenty years and have not found them. Should you find them, please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it!

Regarding Donna Langford Moore: Langford-2786. I believe she is still alive. In both obituaries for her husband Ralph's death in 2004 and alive when her sister Leta died in 2016.

Good morning,

I see you've been adding Find A Grave memorials sources to profiles. That's excellent! WikiTree Plus can do a lot of neat things when it can see a Find A Grave memorial number in a source, such as hinting additional relationships, letting us know we may have typo'd a birth/death date, or indicating that we may have accidentally cited a different family member's memorial.

Some of the ones you've added cite an index of Find A Grave memorials, like Ancestry's index or FamilySearch's index, and not the source citation from the bottom of the memorial itself. Unfortunately these indexes include neither the URL nor memorial number in their citation so WikiTree Plus can't work its magic. This tends to happen more frequently, but not solely, when importing GEDCOM files to WikiTree.

Help:Find A Grave#Links in source citations has a great guide on how to cite the original Find A Grave memorial, and it's really easy too -- just paste it right over! :) There's an extra step if you'd like a little pizazz in how it's linked (see above article), but the additional features unlock with or without that last step.

Wishing all the best to you and yours,

Jeff

I have Rohrbaughs and Bortners and probably many other connections with you. Is your DNA posted anywhere? I could try and help you get connected. Here's one of mine: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Rohrbach-442

Glad to see some Bittingers added today, and hope they will connect with our line! https://www.wikitree.com/treewidget/Bittinger-116/5
Nice hearing from you. Well the geography is certainly conducive and I notice some other names that might be possible connections: Miller, Hess, Spangler, Hershey and Schneider are in my tree as well and lived in that same area in Pennsylvania. We shall see!

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one or more which best fit your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Hello Mindy, Thanks for the welcome. Yes I am enjoying the site. The How-To pages have been helpful but I still have much to learn. At present I'm trying to understand entering sources and references so they appear neat and professional. When I have a specific question I'll get back to you. Tom Wheeler
