Biography
Capt. Seth Wheeler was born on or before 26 Jul 1747 (date of baptism) in Woodbury, Connecticut to Samuel Wheeler and Rebekah Johnson.
He married firstly Betty Hinman on 25 Nov 1767 in Woodbury, Connecticut.
Children: Asa Hinman, Seth Noble.
After Betty died in 1772, he married Elizabeth B Powell on 18 Feb 1778 in Lanesboro, Massachusetts.
Children: Timothy Bedel, Guy E, Nancy Dewey, Aurinda (Aura), Augustus Fred, Henry Tenbrook, Richard S, Amelia, Seth, Sophia.
He died at age 69 on 6 Jul 1817 in Middle Granville, Washington, New York.
