The Salem, Essex County Court heard a Guardianship Petition in 1662:

Petition of Israel, 18 yrs, & Nathan Webster, 16 yrs, with consent of their mother, that their father in law (stepfather) John Emery Sr., "maight be appt'd guardian". Petition allowed 26th 9th mo., 1662. Essex County Courts 3:15, EQCF 8-88-2.

Israel Webster and Elizabeth Browne were married in Newbury, Massachusetts, on 3 January 1665.^[1] Elizabeth Webster, wife of Israell Webster, died in Newbury, Massachusetts, on 10 October 1668,^[2] three days after the birth on 7 October 1668 of her daughter Elizabeth Webster.^[3]

Israell Webster married his second wife, Elizabeth Lunt, in Newbury, Massachusetts, on 9 November 1669.^[1]

Israell Webster died in Newbury, Massachusetts, on 7 December 1683.^[2] His widow, Elizabeth (Lunt) Webster, survived him; she died in Newbury on 3 August 1688.^[2]
