Biography
Elizabeth was born in 1797. She passed away in 1867. Rumor has it that she was a Cherokee Indian and that she chose the name Elizabeth Webb from a group of names written on the blackboard. The local government wouldn't allow she and John to marry, so they traveled to the territory of Mississippi and were married September 28, 1816, in Madison County, Mississippi Territory.
