William married Sarah Ann Hopgood on 13th April 1869 in London [3].
Sarah passed away.
William became a member of the The Royal Society of Musicians of Great Britain on the 2 March 1884 as confirmed in the Society's book, “Members of The Royal Society of Musicians 1738-1984” on Page 152

James A Waud aged 53 (professor of music) was recorded in the 1901 Hammersmith census [6].
William then married Clara Maria Rogers on 11th June 1907 [7].
Their daughter Clarice Adelaide Waud 1911-96 was born on the 28th 05 May 1911 at 20 Arlington Park Mansions, Chiswick, Middlesex [8], [9].
William passed away in 1918 in Worthing. Clara Maria Waud was the beneficiary of his will [10].
