Ruggles Watkins was born in Walpole, New Hampshire on Jan 11, 1782. He was son of Alexander Watkins and Hannah Ruggles. [1] His father had come to Walpole, New Hampshire from Pomfret, Connecticut around 1777. [2]
Ruggles married Sarah Nichols, daughter of Thomas NIchols and Elizabeth Boynton. Ruggles was a farmer and deptuy sheriff. [2]
He died on Jan 6, 1866 in Walpole, New Hampshire [3] and is buried there at Walole Village Cemetery. [4]
