Lawrence Washington, Gent., of Sulgrave and Wicken, Northamptonshire, son and heir of Robert Washington, Esq., of Sulgrave, Northamptonshire, by his 1st wife, Elizabeth Light, daughter and heiress of Walter Lyte, of Radway Grange, Warwickshire.[1]
In 1605 he sold the demesne lands of Sulgrave manor, Northamptonshire to Thomas Adkins.
In 1610, with consent of his father, he sold the reversion of Sulgrave manor to Lawrence Makepeace. He subsequently leased the manor of Wicken, Northamptonshire from the Spencer family.[1][2]
Death
13 Dec 1616, Wicken, Northamptonshire; burial at St. Michael's, Brington, Northamptonshire.[1][3]
