In 1920 Clarence E Warren was living Buffalo Post Office, Otter Precinct, LaRue County, Kentucky, United States with his family on a rented farm. He was 11 months old born in Kentucky. His father Elmer Warren was 30 born in Kentucky, working as a farmer and can read but not write. His mother Sara F was 27 born in Kentucky and can read and write. The others in the home were siblings: Ora E 8; Sylvania 6; Martha J 5; Stella M 4 3/12.[3]
In 1930 Clarence Warren was living on Jackson Hwy No 68, LaRue County, Kentucky, United States with his family on a rented farm. He was 11 born in Kentucky and had attended school within the year. His father Elmer H was 42 born in Kentucky, first married at age 21 and was working as a farmer. His mother Sarah E was 38 born in Kentucky and first married at 19. The others in the home were siblings: Ora E 18; Sylvania 16; Martha 15; Stella 14; Zara E 9. [4]
Clarence Warren married Hazel Slayton 19 Feb 1939 in Buffalo, LaRue County, Kentucky, United States. They were married by Rev. Otis L Overlin, the witnesses were Zora Warren and Philbert Slayton. The marriage bond was dated 18 Feb 1939.[5] "Philbert" is almost certainly Hazel's brother Thelbert.
In 1940 Clarence Warren was living on Mt. Tabor Road, LaRue County, Kentucky, United States with his wife on rented farm. He was 21 born in Kentucky, had completed the 8th grade and was working as a farm laborer. His wife Hazel was 18 born in Kentucky and had completed the 8th grade.[6]

Clarence Elliott Warren registered for the WWII draft 16 Oct 1940 in Buffalo, LaRue County, Kentucky. He was living with his wife Hazel in Gatton, Kentucky. He was working for Mr. Benny Perkins. He was described as 5'9", 135 pounds, white, brown eyes, brown hair, light complexion.[1]
He was a Separate Baptist church minister. Munfordville Separate Baptist Church and Mt. Salem Separate Baptist Church was where he pastored most of the time.[7]
In 1950 Clarence E Warren was living in Hammonsville Post Office, Hart County, Kentucky, United States with his family. He was 30 born in Kentucky and working as a farmer. His wife Hazel was 28 born in Kentucky. The others in the home were children: Clarence E Jr. 3; lodger: Homer Davis 55, born in Kentucky and working as a farm hand.[8]
He died 22 Feb 1992[9] at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, Hardin County, Kentucky, United States.[10]
He was buried 24 Feb 1992[11] in Community Cemetery, Hart County, Kentucky, United States, formerly known as Mt. Zion.[12]
