They have 2 children: Jason and Melissa.

Roy and Donna have lived in Peterborough ON, Lakefield ON, Kitimat BC, Port Hope ON, Cobourg ON, Rockwood ON, Guelph ON, Clifford ON, and finally retired to Prince Edward Island in 2016.

Active in Scouting for many years, they enjoy camping, history, reading, and travel. They have five grandchildren who are the joy of their lives.
