Warenne-134 and Warenne-1 do not represent the same person because: different data, while research is warranted, no one is doing it. Clearly not the same person

John de Warenne is sometimes styled as being “6th Earl of Surrey”. Here, he is being styled as “7th Earl of Surrey” — any comments and sources supporting either?

Comments and sources will be greatly appreciated.

Please see the answer Joe Cochoit has given on the numbering for his father, the 6th Earl - https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Warenne-92. Mutatis mutandis, the answer is the same here.

According to Wikipedia, the John born in 1231 was the 6th Earl of Surrey. The 7th Earl was his grandson, also called John.

The John born 1231 was commander of the English army at the disastrous battle of Stirling Bridge.

as there are many Non Paternal events in Royal Lines i do not think the Y DNA of Richard III belongs here as there is no one of the G-P287 Haplogroup in the Warren YDNA Project just an observation https://www.familytreedna.com/public/warren/default.aspx?section=ycolorized
