Sonkanuhoo was Wampanoag.

"SONKANUHOO,2 who was perhaps identical with the brother of King Philip said to have been slain at the fight in a swamp in Pocasset (afterwards Tiverton), July 18, 1675. (See page 102)[1][p. 211]
