Mary Ann "Polly" Walters was born in 1816. Her parents, William and Eliza Walters, were from Floyd County, Virginia.
Polly married in 1839 to Larkin Deweese, probably in Floyd County, Virginia.
They had at least one son: William P. Deweese, known as Peter Deweese.
Polly died 18 January 1882 of Typhoid fever.
