In the 1851 census, Thomas (age 26), Professor Of Singing, was a unmarried lodger in Saint Anne Westminster, Middlesex, England.[2]
Thomas became a member of the The Royal Society of Musicians of Great Britain on the 5 February 1860 as confirmed in the Society's book, “Members of The Royal Society of Musicians 1738-1984” on Page 150

He performs on the piano forte and a little on the Contra Bass and is engaged as a teacher of singing. Is a professor of the Royal Academy of Music and holds a principal engagement at the Royal English Opera, Covent Garden, as well as church engagement
