Hi Richard I've finally managed to merge all the Garsides that were duplicated and I hope we haven't lost any information though I seem to have lost photos I'd posted of my grandfather so will repost them when I get time. Good to see we now have another Garside relative in Evette.
Hi Rick, and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your family/ancestors in England. I wanted to let you know we have a great project that focuses on the UK here called United Kingdom Project It would be a great place for you to get involved now you have settled into WikiTree.
Thank you so much for joining WikiTree.
Good luck with your research in 2015.
Hi, Richard. I can't find a death date for Eliza Ann Garside nee Wallwork. Bill Garside remarried, to my grandmother, in 1906. So there should be a death date for Eliza Ann between 1903-1906. He married my grandmother out in Canada and I'm wondering if he insisted on that because Eliza Ann was still alive! I wouldn't put it past him, he was a bit of a rotter. Do you have anything on Eliza Ann's death date? Lynda
William (Bill) was my mother's father. I haven't been able to tell which of two women was his second wife so it's great that you know! He outlived four wives. Lynda
Hi, Richard. I've added you to my trusted list for Alfred Garside. I'll add you to William's profile, too. I'm very happy that someone can add a bit to my family tree! Lynda

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.
If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top right, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
