Evola Helen Waller was born on July 13, 1896 in Bloomington Springs, Putnam Co., Tennessee, United States, daughter of Richard Lafayette Waller (1863–1899) and Margaret Ellen Ensor (1869–1927).^[1]

Evola died on April 20, 1976 in Smith, Tennessee, aged 79. She was buried in Chestnut Mound United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chestnut Mound, Smith County, Tennessee.^[1]
