Robert Waller is Notable.

Robert Waller went to school at the University of Iowa. After his first year he transferred to Iowa State Teacher's College. In 1967, he returned to his alma mater, which was now, University of Northern Iowa to teach business management and economics. He became the dean of the Business School. He was on leave from UNI in the 1990's when he wrote the best seller "The Bridges of Madison County" which was made into a movie.
