This is the Waller who captured the Duke of Orleans during the Battle of Agincourt in 1415 for which he was awarded an addition to his crest by King Henry V. The addition was the Fleur de Le of France representing the Duke. Richard held Charles captive for 20 years, and they became life-long friends. The Duke's grandson became King Charles.
