Biography
Robert was born about 1873. He was the son of John Walker and Jane Stephenson.
In 1914 he married Louisa Hamann in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia[1] His wife's last name has also been recorded as Harvey.
Children: Helena (1914) and John Robert (1917)
He passed away in 1923[2]

Walker, sen., of 247 and 249 Forrest-st., Kalgoorlie, are respectfully notified that the remains of their late dearly beloved husband, father, and son respectively (Robert Walker) will be removed, from his late residence, 247 Forrest-st., Kalgoorlie, this day, Tuesday, at 2 p.m., for interment in the Anglican portion, of the Kalgoorlie Cemetery.[3]
Obituary (Kalgoorlie Miner (WA : 1895 - 1954) Tue 12 Jun 1923 / Page 6 / OBITUARY) THE LATE MR. R. WALKER. The funeral of the late Mr. Robert Walker, late engine-driver W.A. Government railways, took place on Tuesday, June 5, and was attended by a number of relatives and friends, including members of the local Enginedrivers, Firemen and Cleaners' Union and running shed staff. The chief mourners were the widow and family, mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey (mother and father-in-law.)[4]
