Raymond S. Walker
Gloucester - Raymond S. Walker, 78, died Saturday at Walter Reed Memorial Hospital.
Born in Gloucester, he was a retired farmer and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Eleanor Walker; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Rowe of Gloucester Point and Mrs. Edith Wilson of Shacklefords; and a brother, Andrew L. Walker of Shacklefords.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, by the Rev. P. E. Brewer and the Rev. O. G. Burnette. Burial will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and request expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Gloucester Volunteer Rescue Squad.
