Research Notes

There appears to be a birth record available on findmypast [1] for a 1576 christening with no parents visible, in Widford. Widford is about 5 miles northeast of Great Amwell, residence of her father, place of her marriage, and place of birth of 7 children. Widford is 25 miles from Baldock, the place of birth of two of her sisters. 1576 is compatible with what we know from her father’s will and what we know about her sisters.
