Biography

Gertrude was born in Picton, NSW, in 1870, the fifth of seven children of William Henry Wakelin and Rebekah Heness. Gertrude married John Benjamin King on 18 January 1888 at Warren, NSW. They had 6 children: Olla Edith Mary. (1888-1967) Albert W.C. (1889-1892) Arthur Sidney (1891-1961) Linda Mai (1897-1966) Adeline Dorothy (1900-1989) Ernest R. (1903-1978) Gertrude died in 1946. She was interred in the Church of England section of the Warren Cemetery. ^{[1] [2]}
