Biography

The given name in most records is Gregorius, but sometimes written as "George". He appears to be a stone mason. The family has lived in various villages in regions of Abauj-Torna and Gomor such as Horka (now Krásnohorské Podhradie), Hoszurét, Gomor, Hungary and Almas, Abauj, Hungary (now Jablonov nad Turňou).

The surname has been listed alternately as Hladikovszky, Vladikovszky, Ladikovszky, Vlodikovszky, Laditkofsky, sometimes shortened to Ladik.

There is also an Andreas Vladikovszky, with descendants, in same time period that settled in same region, who could be an elder son or a younger brother.

Marriage

According to the Almas Parochial Census, they were married by 1754 as Judith Soss (Sass, Sos, Söss) Vladikovsky is listed in the 1754 parochial census of Almas with her husband, Gregorius Vladikovsky.

They had, at least, six children.

Presumably Gregory, aka George, died in or near Almas.
