Adriana is the daughter of Vincent Andriesz.^[1][2][3] Since Vincent lived in Rijswijk since at least 1539, it is possible that she was born in Rijswijk.^[4]

Adriana is mentioned as wife of Jan Aryensz^[2][5] Although she is also mentioned having married Ariaen Jansz Cleij.^[6] Jan Aryensz was mentioned as the successor of (the deceased) Ariaen Jansz Cleij for Ariaen's children in a 1559 court case.^[7][8] This indicates that Adriana first married with Ariaen Jansz Cleij and remarried with Jan Aryensz.

She must have had multiple children with Ariaen.^[6] One of these was Claes Adriaensz. He was a "snijer" (could be translated as tailor) in Wateringen in 1578.^[9]
