Brownsville - Marie Minton, 95, of Sweeden died March 10, 2007, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Calloway County, Neb., native was born Oct. 7, 1911. She was a homemaker and member of Sweeden Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Robert and Hester Vincent and the wife of the late Lacy Minton. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Loretta Minton Luttrell; and two sons, Haskel and David Minton. Funeral is at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel, with burial in Sweeden Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.pattonfuneral home.com. Survivors include a son, John Minton of Punta Gorda, Fla.; a daughter, Linda Elmore and her husband, John, of Punta Gorda; two grandchildren, Robert J. Minton Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, and Tammy Minton; and two great-grandchildren, Kimberly and Jonathan Minton.
