I wonder if you can tell me a little more about Ann Jephson? I have an Ann born Derby 1876 and Ann born Mansfield in 1877, and in my database have many other Ann's - it would be great to be able to link the data up? Many thanks. Chris

Thanks H for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches date of profile and avoid abbreviations. Citations & links for sources enable verification of data please add from wiki ID go to Research to find sources

The England England Project would be of interest. Adding the tag  England will provide updates about the project.

Explore Projects list to find one that fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals & tasks of the project join if it fits

Questions please ask

Janet ~ Pre-1700 Greeter

Reservey Fletcher-3691 had rather erratic spelling of her offspring's names. Teana, Teanah, Diana and Teahannah Pargetter-17 are all variations of the same name, and Sarah Reservoir Pargetter-16 also had an unusual name.

This doesn't help, but it explains the situation. Kathryn Dalglish-11

Your page mentions Bicknell, Millidge and Portbury, which are also on my tree. I am connected through the Pargetter and Jelleyman trees. Perhaps we are related. I have had my DNA tested.

I see that there is a problem with the first names of Reservoi Fletcher 3691 who married Henry Pargetter. She was a gypsy girl, probably illiterate, and her father was a well known Gypsy leader. Her names are different on each document: Reservey, Reservoi, Reservoir, Rose, Rosey, Vey, and combinations of these names.

Hi! We are all a part of one giant family tree. To illustrate this, AJ Jacobs is sponsoring a big family reunion and we are identifying the people who have already found a connection to him in the global family tree. If you would like to learn more about it, see http://globalfamilyreunion.com/

Hey H.,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page. Mags, WikiTree Mentor
