Judy was born about 1855. In 1880, Judy was living in Caddo Parish, Louisiana with her husband, Lee. She was working as a laborer. Judy's mother was born in Alabama and her father in Virginia. <1>

Research Note: Judy's maiden name may have been Anthony. Sally Anthony, aged 40 also lived in the household and is described as "mother," and may have been Judy's mother rather than Lee's. Lee said his mother was born in Louisiana; Judy said her mother was born in Alabama. Sally was born in Alabama. More research is needed.
