MACCLESFIELD
—Wedding-—
St. James' church, effectively decorated with daffodils and arum lilies, was the scene of a pretty wedding, celebrated with nuptial mass, on Saturday, 8th inst, when Mrs. C. O'Farrell and Mr. E. Lemar, both of this district, were married by Rev. P. J. Carolan. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dusty pink jacket suit, with brown fur cape, small brown hat and brown accessories; she carried a posy. Mrs. E. McNamara, who was matron of honor, was frocked in a navy ensemble, beaded with gold, navy hat with shaded blue feather, and carried a posy. Mr. M. Pursell was best man. Miss M. Burns played the wedding march as the bridal party was leaving the church. A reception was held at the home of Mrs. E. (McNamara. The dainty wedding breakfast was the gift of Mrs. E. Oswald; a life-long friend of the bride. The usual toasts were honored. For travelling, a navy and white striped costume was worn by the bride, with hat and accessories to match.
