Biography

Elizabeth Bulmer was born on 15 Feb 1819 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England to James Bulmer and Elizabeth.

Elizabeth Bulmor, born 15 Feb 1819, daughter of James & Elizabeth, was christened on 4 Apr 1819 in Aston Juxta Birmingham.^[1]

Elizabeth Balmer (age 25, Spinster, daughter of James Balmer) and Cornelius Dean (age 22, Bachelor, son of Luke Dean) were married on 22 Jul 1844 in Harborne, Staffordshire.^[2] The marriage was registered in King's Norton, Worcestershire [a district that also includes parts of Staffordshire & Warwickshire] in the third quarter of the year.^[3]

Elizabeth and Cornelius had seven children:

In 1851 Elizabeth Dean (age 32) lived in Aston with her husband Cornelius (28, Gun Maker) and four children: Elizabeth (5, Scholar), Henry (3, Scholar), Emily (2), and Cornelius W (0), as well as servant Elizabeth Hayler (28, House Servant) and her husband's apprentice Marror Hall (16, Apprentice Gun Maker).^[4]

In 1861 Elizabeth Dean (age 42) lived at Walsall Rd in Aston with her husband Cornelius (38, Gun Stocker Employing 2 Boys) and six children: Elizabeth (15, Apprentice to Millinary), Henry Luke (13, Errand Boy), Emily (12, Scholar), Cornelius W (10, Scholar), Sarah Ann (8, Scholar), and Alice Amy (9 months).^[5][6]

In 1881 Elizabeth Dean (age 62) lived in Aston with her husband Cornelus (58, Gunstocker) and daughter Alice (30 [~20], Assistant Teacher).^[7]

In 1891 Elizabeth Dean (age 72) lived at 185 Clifton Road in Aston with her husband Cornelius (68, Gun Stocker) and two "nieces" [granddaughters]: Elizabeth E Mousley (20, Board School Teacher) and Thurza A Dean (13, Scholar).^[8][9]

Elizabeth Dean passed away in 1896, aged 77 years. Her death was registered in Aston in the second quarter of the year.^[10]

Elizabeth's husband died in the same quarter of the year:
