Biography
Mary, daughter of Aaron Tyrrel (1779-1835) and Candace Stoddard (b. 1781),[1]
Children:
Harriet Candace (b. ~24 October 1836;[2] m. John N. Walker[3] (1836-1865. He was killed during the Battle of Sailors Creek during the Civil War);[4] m. George H. Cumins or Cummings;[5][6] d. 20 May 1921.
Wallace B. (b. 14 November 1840;[7][8] d. 19 September 1863,[9] while a Civil War soldier).[10]
There is only one record which shows the middle name, Caroline. Most records use only the initial. However, some online genealogies show Mary Candace, which has some merit as her mother's name is Candace and her eldest daughter is Harriet Candace. Further research may be warranted.
A great source for information on the Mary and her husband can be found in the file for his pension.[33]
