Nellie was born in 1874. ^[1] She was the daughter of Calvin Tyrrell and Ida Barrett. ^[2]

In 1900, Nellie married Arthur L Whiteis. ^[2]

Nellie passed away in 1934. ^[3] She was buried in Rosehill Cemetery, Wells, Faribault County, Minnesota. ^[4]
