Wendy, I am receiving e mails on the Pigott line that you have been working on. I am dead ended on my Pigott line, and wondered if you have any information. Father: Michael Pigott, born approx 1785, Cork, Ireland. Wife: Catherine Nolan born approx 1792, Cork Ireland. Children: John Thomas Pigott Sr., born approx 1812 Cork. Richard Pigott, born 14 Dec 1814, Cork., Mary, born approx 1828,Cork. Peggy, born approx 1829, Cork. Michael, born approx 1836, Cork. Julia, born approx 1840, Cork. Catherine, born 6 November 1843, Cork. Also unable to find information on the Catherine Nolan listed above. Family integrated to United States in 1851 and all died there. I have those death dates, but unable to track family from Michael and Catherine backwards. Do you have any information?  I noticed that you're working on pre-1700-era profiles. This is just a reminder that certifying to work on these types of profiles means that you agree to add valid sources as outlined in the Pre-1700 Certification Quiz; also, here’s the Pre-1700 general help page. Family pedigrees and FindAGrave with no tombstone images don’t qualify for pre-1700 sources. (Totally fine to mention them, they just can’t be the only source)

Hi Susan,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
