William was christened 10 Feb 1562 in Painswick, Gloucestershire, England to Thomas Twenynge.[1] It is assumed his mother was Elsabeth Powne.

Marriage

He married 03 Mar 1594 Mabell Newcombe in Painswick, Gloucestershire, England.[2] They had 12 children together, possibly including William Twining.[3]

Will and Death

William had his will drawn up on 6 Feb 1617. [4]He described himself as being of Painswick. He made bequests to :

  • wife Mable
  • son Richard
  • son Thomas
  • daughter Mable

His will was probated in May 1618.

There is no evidence that he ever went to New England.

Newcombe-78 and Newcombe-5 appear to be the same person, William Twenynge-2 did not have two wives,
Twenyge-1 and Twenynge-2 appear to represent the same person because: same death, marriage, parents and wife. Birth is similar and unsourced
