Theophylactus of Tusculum was born about 1012. He was the son of Count Alberic III of Tusculum.[1] Platina[2] describes him as:
He had three pontificates, the first from 1032-1044, the second in 1045, and his third pontificate began in 1047 and ended in August 1048.[1][3]
He died about 1056.[1]
