Edith Florence Turrell was born in 1876, at Romford, Essex, England.^[1] She was the daughter of Henry Turrell (1844-1924) and Eliza Guiver (1848-1916).

Edith married William Jetson Parry (1876-1948) in 1898, at West Ham, Essex, England.^[2] They had three children.
