Obituary
Passed peacefully away at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Memorial Manor, Clarenville on Saturday, October 23, 2021, Lavenia King of St. Jones Within, age 91 years. Predeceased by her husband William and her brothers and sisters. Left with fond and loving memories her children Kevin (Marjorie), Wade (Elizabeth) and Ross (Gail); grandchildren Crystal (Terence), Eldon (Kayla), Jenelle (Paul), Shanon (Jeesun), Christopher (Stephanie) and William (Alison); great grandchildren William, Hudson, Chelsea, Tayla, Emma, Aiden, Arianna, Ellie, Cameron and Logan; sisters-in-law Clarice Tucker and Margaret Parker; and a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at the United Church, St. Jones Within on Monday, October 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Faith United Church, St. Jones Within with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, St. Jones Within. Funeral Service is by invitation only and will be aired on 88.1 FM radio station for those outside the church. In her memory flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Faith United Cemetery Fund. Covid guidelines will be followed. Vaxpass or printed proof of vaccinations will be required to attend the funeral service.
